Abtin Farrokh began studying violin and piano at age seven in Tehran and attended the Tehran Conservatory. His orchestral experience includes five years of performance, with three years as concertmaster and assistant conductor. After moving to Los Angeles, he earned Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Violin Performance at California State University, Northridge, and performed with the CSUN Orchestra and Los Angeles Valley Orchestra. He has taught violin and piano for more than 15 years, is a member of the Roudaki Orchestra, and founded Musicademic in 2025, overseeing certificates and student recitals.
